Riding a bicycle and doing yoga are both great ways to practice being present. Staying in tune with your body, mine and breath – especially while riding your bike and doing yoga – just feels good.
Our breath is our life force – without it, we die. Each exhale connects you to your core strength and each inhale offers nourishment for every cell in your body. Pause and take a nice deep breath, fully exhale, and see how you feel.
Chakras, one aspect of yoga, offer great insight for deepening your understanding of your body. Chakra translates to “disk” or “wheel.” Chakras are like spinning wheels of energy inside the body, propelling us forward through time and space.
